Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
Detroit, MI –On May, 17, 2010, America’s past time and recycling will combine as RRS hosts a special ‘home game’ event for the members of the Michigan Recycling Coalition(MRC) at Comerica Park as the Detroit Tigers take on the Chicago White Sox. The game will be in conjunction with the MRC’s 29th annual conference. This year’s conference, “A Recycling Renaissance” will take place May 17th thru the 19th at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.
Guests will be treated to a traditional ball field picnic dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. including hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad and chips before the game. The pregame line-up will include a legislative forum where elected officials and gubernatorial hopefuls will be on hand to discuss the state of waste and recycling in Michigan. Game time starts at 7:00 p.m. and will be enjoyed from the mezzanine deck.
