RRS Wishes Everyone a Happy Groundhogs Day!
Punxsutawney, PA – He saw his shadow! This morning, famed groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil crushed the hopes of an early spring when he saw his shadow thus predicting six more weeks of winter.
For over a hundred years, thousands have gathered in Punxsutawney Pennsylvania to see Phil ceremoniously determine how much longer folks will endear the cold and snow of winter. Much to residents’ dismay, Phil usually sees his shadow but has on occasion seen nothing. However, the National Climate Data Center says that Phil has only been right 37% of the time so there is still hope for this year. Either way, RRS wishes everyone a Happy Groundhogs Day!
