The Building Materials Reuse Association is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to facilitate building deconstruction and the reuse/recycling of recovered building materials.

Energy and Environmental Building Association
The Energy and Environmental Building Association provides education and resources to transform the residential design, development and construction industries to profitably deliver energy efficient and environmentally responsible buildings and communities.

This is the gateway to EPA’s related programs such as Energy Star, indoor air, smart growth, environmentally preferable building products, construction & demolition.

The American Institute of Architects – Committee on the Environment
The Committee on the Environment (COTE) works to advance, disseminate and advocate—to the profession, the building industry, the academy and the public—design practices that integrate built and natural systems and enhance both the design quality and environmental performance of the built environment.

US Green Building Council
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a nonprofit composed of leaders from every sector of the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.

U.S. Green Building Council – Building Green Schools
The Building Green Schools program facilitates LEED standards within K-12 schools and higher education buildings to improve children’s health, productivity and learning capacity while also helping school buildings to be more energy-efficient and resource- friendly.

World Green Building Council
The World Green Building Council is a union of national councils whose mission is to accelerate the transformation of the built environment towards sustainability.

Energy Star is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices.

EPA’s Clean Energy program is working with state policy makers, electric and gas utilities, energy customers and other key stakeholders to identify, design and implement clean energy policy and technology solutions.
