Moderating Session II: Partnership Glass Recycling Opportunities in the Southeast
Mon. Aug 9, 2021 | 1:30p-3:00p
Glass has long been considered a core recyclable since the inception of recycling programs. Despite a negative spin on bottles, the industry needs recycled glass (cullet). During an interactive panel, with help from the Glass Recycling Coalition, attendees can take part in a summit to learn how Florida could be a leader in glass collection and processing. Panelists include Scott DeFife (Glass Packaging Institute - GPI) and Joe Meierhoff (Strategic Materials, Inc. - SMI).
