Speaking during Benchmarking Higher Education Zero Waste Programs
On-Demand Session
Sometimes building a zero-waste program can feel like you are on an island. But according to recent research conducted by RRS that looked at over 300 universities and colleges across the US, 63% have established some type of recycling program on campus. One way to feel more connected is to understand what other schools are doing and where you have similarities and differences. Did you know that the average recycling rate of the sampled schools is 24%? Or that 33% of schools sampled have some type of composting available on campus? This session will present additional findings from the research that can help you to benchmark your campus program.
